Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon & Director of Research

Joseph Daniel had his initial orthopaedic training at the University College Delhi and the Postgraduate Institute in Chandigarh in India and worked as a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon in Delhi for almost a decade. While undertaking further training in arthroplasty in the UK, Professor Derek McMinn invited him to take on the ongoing research projects at the McMinn Centre. As a highly regarded member of the team Joseph participates in clinical duties and assisting Mr McMinn in the operating theatre, on the ward and at the Consulting Rooms and has led our research efforts with eminence. He has several publications in leading journals and is frequently invited to speak at national and international conferences.

Hena Ziaee BSc(Hons)
Biomedical Scientist

Hena assists both Mr McMinn and Mr Daniel with an ever increasing number of research studies.  This involves liaising directly with patients to schedule and carry out investigations from which she produces highly technical information.  Hena is also involved in presenting these results at orthopaedic meetings.
