50/50/50 Endurance Walk for Dimbleby Cancer Care

On the 5th June this year, Mr McMinn and the McMinn Centre staff will be putting their best feet forward to help raise money for Dimbleby Cancer Care in London. Journalist and Broadcaster Jonathan Dimbleby is chair of the charity which was founded in memory of his father Richard to offer care and support for the needs of people with cancer, their families and carers. This event has been set up to mark the 50th year of the charity and the walk goes through the night, passing numerous London landmarks.

Mr McMinn will be switching his theatre blues for his walking shoes as he will be joining Jonathan and many others taking part in this endurance challenge along with some of his team from The McMinn Centre.

Jonathan describes himself as one of Mr McMinn’s ‘triumphs’ after undergoing bilateral Birmingham Hip Resurfacing (BHR) surgery with Mr McMinn several years ago.

Mr McMinn would like his patients to know about this event and invites anyone who, like Jonathan, continues to lead a pain-free and active life after hip or knee surgery, to get involved and challenge themselves to achieve something great whilst raising money for a worthy cause.
