Wagner Carrilho – Right BKR (May 2016)
X-Factor 2010 finalist, Singer and Entertainer

Singer Wagner Carrilho has returned to Mr McMinn to take his total of McMinn implant up to three. The X-Factor star had bilateral Birmingham Hip Resurfacing (BHR) surgery back in 1999 and has returned now his knee pain requires surgical intervention. Wagner had a Birmingham Knee Replacement (BKR) and is delighted with the outcome, stating that once needed, he will return for his other knee and complete the McMinn set.

Colin Drew – Right BKR (April 2010)
Skiing, Water Skiing, Basketball

Colin Drew is thrilled to be active again following his BKR. "Inside five months I was water skiing again. Inside nine months I actually went snow skiing again!" he beams. Mr McMinn was also able to straighten Colin's badly bowed leg, which Colin says, "makes me look 10 years younger!"

Colin continues to do well two-and-a-half years after surgery. He recently returned from a road trip across the US and comments, "I can do all the activities I want to do with my BKR. Since the operation I've been on five skiing holidays, I water ski and we've been on two walking holidays."

Michael Ponberth – Left BKR (July 2010)

After bilateral BHRs, Michael Ponberth required a left BKR in 2010. He was quickly back to sports explaining, "Twelve weeks after the operation I was back to playing golf. I cannot express strongly enough how delighted I am with the surgery and rehabilitation."
